It's Matthews Alive Time!

It's Mathews Alive time!!! Spent the day downtown at the festival with the kiddos! Dales dad was in town and went as well to see the car show. Lily thought he was a goofball, but had a lot of fun and a great day! Very hot outside but we all managed. Of course, Lily had to have her face painted, but refused to go on any rides...."maybe next year mommy when I'm more brave". She was very proud that her school was in the middle of all the festivities and said many times, "look, there's my school!". Anna just cared about the ice cream and corn dogs....more to come with that one!

Lily spending time with her buddies!

Lily has been missing her buddies so we took some time to reconnect and get together with a few.....Lily had her best buddies birthday party to attend this past Saturday. She and Eliza were two peas in a pod during Lily's last year in preschool. It's been hard that Eliza is not at Lily's school, but hopefully they will stay in touch!....Earlier in the week, Lily, Anna and mommy met up with some of their old buddies...Abi and Jacob. We went to Northlake Mall and had the kids play for a bit in the kiddy corner. Great fun for the kids and we grown ups had a chance to catch up too...Abi and Jacob also started Kindergarden that week, so they all thought they were pretty cool!! Stay tuned!

Lilys First Week of School

Well, I cant believe it but Lily is officially a Kindergardner!!! She had a rough first day...waking up at 6:00 am, but quickly recovered and was on her way! I was so proud of her, leaving her the first day was pretty hard, but she did great! Next week she will go every day, 7:30 am-1:30 pm and then attends the afterschool program until 5:30 pm everday.
Anna thought it was pretty cool too when we walked into the school and left her big sissy in her class. I think she wanted to stay too!
Will keep you posted with the on goings of this new life of a kindergardner....so many things to feel blessed about and can't wait to enjoy this next year of new beginnings and watching my two beauiful daughters grow.
